

The AMSP credentialing exam is administered by the American Healthcare Documentation Professionals Group (AHDPG). The practical exam questions are designed to test a candidate's knowledge, skill, and ability to work as a medical scribe effectively in today's healthcare environment The emphasis in the practical portion of the exam is more on critical thinking skills rather than keyboarding, research, or other technical skills. The 1-hour 15-minute exam consists of 100 multiple choice and fill-in-the-blank questions and requires a minimum passing score of 80 or above.
